The challenges in any project can be neatly divided into the foreseen and the unexpected. One requires preparation, the other agility. Both depend on honesty and close collaboration. 

This case study examines how, through advance preparation, honesty and openness between stakeholders, and an agile approach to problem-solving, IOM3 were able to rise to the challenges of delivering a hugely complex digital transformation project where budget and time were major considerations. And how, half-way through the project, against the backdrop of a global pandemic, the team were able to sustain momentum as well as account for the rapidly changing business and technology environment.
